Our family farm grows field crops, lavender, grapes and truffle hazelnuts.
The lavender farm sits on 1.5 hectares, on one of the highest points of Simontornya, next to the radio tower.
The estate welcomes visitors with a breathtaking view and a rare sense of quiet. The silence, the calm and the closeness of nature offer a real rest from everyday noise.
The guest house sleeps 12. It currently has 6 comfortable bedrooms, a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom.
Outdoors you can cook bacon over an open fire, or bake in the wood-fired oven.
The lavender farm is certified organic, and the whole holding is free of chemicals.
From our own lavender we make syrup, jam, essential oil, lavender water, plants, dried flowers and lavender briquettes. You can buy them in our webshop and in Tihany, at 13 Kossuth Street.
In summer the lavender field rolls in violet waves. In autumn a carpet of saffron covers the estate.
If you like the unusual side of nature, the hazelnut grove grown with truffles is well worth a walk.
We open the gates to the public once every two years, during the June flowering, when the estate is at its most beautiful.
